Harrison and Javier's Film 2016

After our first year of competing, we had Harrison and Javier. They produced this film that made it into the Semi final round at UIL Texas Young Filmmakers Competition. This was a great honor and unbeknownst to us we would lose Harrison only a few short months later due to his condition and a tragic accident. You can find his memorial page by following this link...
Congratulations to you Emily for becoming one of six finalist in the Texas State UIL Animation Young Filmmakers Competition.
She went on to take third place in the competition. Out of all of the films that won she was the only student that worked on her project by herself!!!!

Emily's film 2015

Karley and Huy's film 2015

This was our first year to compete outside of the classroom and district. Emily took third in State while Karley and Huy qualified for and had their film play in the International Film Festival in Athens Greece. Here is their film

Allen, Khang, Devin and Anthony's film 2015

This was produced by a group of advanced students that had come back and taken my class for a second year. They worked all year long on this and sadly after we would have an opportunity to submit it for competition. But you guys get to watch it now. One of my favorites from the past

OK!!!
These films are like going back into the dark ages...
At this point in my career I did not allow students to use professionally rigged characters and I also didn't teach Animation.
I took a college class to help out my skills and these two things are the major Gold nuggets that I got from that class.
Students in these years deserve extra respect because they built EVERYTHING!!!
With that said here is some early EARLY WORK...
