Character Modeling

Many things in this life seem impossible. Creating a 3d video game character is one of those daunting tasks that seems this way. The reality is much further from that perceived truth tho...

Creating a 3d character, when broken down into achievable chunks, is actually pretty simple. Every complex object can be broken down into simpler components. The most overwhelming task in creating a character is usually constructing the face. The face of our character is honestly the life of the character.

So the first grouping of videos in this lesson will center in on making the face. once this is accomplished the outfit that our character is wearing is pretty straight forward.

This is the approach that we are going to use to create our first character. I have thought about which character we should create at great length. I have had a request to create a Anime character from a number of students over the years. So due to popular request I present to you Iruma from Demon School.

His name is Iruma
