Vector Ninjas!!!

Picture

Once again we are just getting started with a new program. Adobe Illustrator works MUCH different than other Adobe programs.
In the example above you can see what we are going to make. It is the Vector Ninja lesson where we will start off with basically nothing and when we are finished we will have this as our completed project.

In the video series you will produce these ninjas with me as we learn some of the basic tools in illustrator. It may seem difficult at first because the method of producing shapes in Illustrator is likened to accessing another brain.

Tools used/stuff to be learned

We will be using all of the shape tools; Circular and Rectangular. We will also learn to use the Direct selection tool and the Selection tool and be able to differentiate between the two. We will then finish up the lesson with the custom shape tool and applying color to the stroke, fill, and using gradients.

It may sound like a lot but this is definitely the simplest lesson that we will do in Illustrator. Lets get started!!!

Here is the written lesson
